Marianne will be running two one-week drawing and painting holidays in 2026, one in France and one in Italy.

A passionate believer in the traditional skills of drawing and painting, she likes to encourage students to ‘do their own thing’, whether they are beginners or old hands. Classes are lively and informative, with plenty of demonstration and lots of opportunity for you to experiment, learning or practising all sorts of ‘tricks of the trade’.

The Old Olive Press, Northern Italy, 28 August – 4 Sept 2026

Picture a tiny hamlet high in the mountains, with spectacular views, visits to perfect painting locations, and accommodation in the lovingly converted Old Olive Press, a great mix of old and new with its ancient buildings, sunny terraces, plunge pool and shady courtyard. HeartsEase Painting & Yoga Holiday, South of France, 19 – 26 September 2026
